Winter Cloth Distribution Program

 

Pharmacy Social Awareness Club of UAP, carried out its 'Winter Cloth Distribution Program' in the month of January 2014. The faculty, students and staff of the department enthusiastically took steps towards contributing to the program. About 400 pieces of winter clothes were collected and 200 pieces of blankets were bought in order to distribute among the needy and the less privileged of the Subornochor, Noakhali. A team of 16 members including students; coordinate by Ms. Waheeda Nasreen and led by Mr. Zahid Sadek Chowdhury, Mr. Md. Reazul Islam and Mr. Tanveer Ahsan from the department of Pharmacy, travelled to Shubornochor of Noakhali and distributed clothes and blankets among the people stricken with severe cold. The Department of Pharmacy, UAP has always been meticulous towards its social responsibilities and public welfare. Furthermore, the alumni association of the department also encouraged and motivated initiatives taken towards helping the less privileged by making a significant contribution to the club.
